[No animals were harmed in the making of this website, but two were spoiled rotten.]
In 1993, I was named Artistic Director/Writer/Actress at Agatha’s – Atlanta’s premiere comedy murder mystery dinner theatre. I held that position until 2008, when I hung up my hat (a bit tired after the gazillionth met deadline) to pursue the freelance life again.
At Agatha’s it was my job to “Make it funny”! I edited every script, mining every line for comedic gems. It was a marvelous comedy laboratory. Week after week there were paying customers in the seats wanting to be entertained, and one simply HAD to deliver!
Over the years, I have developed a distinctive writing style – the mystery is cleverly wrapped in a delightful surprise package – incorporating many different kinds of humor, so there’s something funny for everyone. And I will not rest until my spoofs and satires are dead-on, capturing the silly essence of whatever the subject matter is. How can murder be funny? Let me count the ways!
My wonderful friend and client Christopher Haven Jones (The Mystery Café Indianapolis) urged me to market my scripts, so after being dragged kicking and screaming into the twenty-first century… “Killer Comedies” is now open for business!
I happily invite you to go to my PLAYLIST, read some samples, then call or email me and let’s chat about your production!
